PURCHASING AGENT

Full-Time Reporting

  • Compensation: $20-22/hour based on experience (additional overtime on weekends) 
  • Benefits: Retirement Plan; Dental, Medical, Vision Insurance

  • Relationship: Direct report to VP of Operations

This is a fast-paced, integral position that contributes significantly to our production quality, as well as our external customer satisfaction. This position requires someone committed to quality products, someone who is willing to provide feedback on operations and contribute solutions for part shortages. Our purchasing agent cooperates closely with supervisors and engineers, and have the full support of production staff and documentation. Collaboration is important to our success!


Job Expectations

  • Evaluate and execute on material requirements from ERP system
  • Plan and schedule daily/weekly/monthly production and engineering material requirements
  • Vendor communication, development, qualification, and disqualification
  • Develop and track on-time material measurements
  • Follow and execute ISO 9001:2015 Operating Procedures for Purchasing and External Suppliers
  • Execute Document Change Notices (DCN) for purchasing functions
  • Represent purchasing on Quality Steering Team (QST)

Preferred Qualities

  • 2-year or 4-year degree
  • Prior purchasing experience and/or certification
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities

LINE LEAD

Full-Time (Shifts: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

  • Compensation: $20-24/hour based on experience (additional overtime on weekends)

Our assemblers cooperate closely with supervisors and engineers and have the full support of production staff. Collaboration is important to our success!


Job Expectations

  • Lead assemblers to accomplish daily production goals.
  • Follow written instructions and train assemblers on best production processes.
  • Ensure the availability of supplies needed to produce; tools, machine readiness, tape, solder, etc.
  • Ensure paperwork is properly filled out and accounted for.
  • Alert engineering if there are any concerns, discrepancies in documentation, and/or shipping instructions as soon as they are identified.
  • Keep alert for any ideas to build smarter, faster, better and communicate your idea(s) to the VP of Operations and engineering.
  • Ship on time.
  • Ship product out right the first time.
  • Embrace the concepts of ISO, including documentation, inspection, etc.
  • Assembly work– (will train)

Preferred Qualities

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Overtime availability
  • Flexible enough to rotate duties if need be
  • Bi-lingual
