Data Panel's Response to COVID-19

EDITED: October 2020

Plymouth, MN, April 21, 2020 – With the rapid spread of COVID-19 and the resulting governmental restrictions, it's impossible to expect that a workplace can remain unchanged.

We certainly haven't.

We are not a very large company. In fact, in many ways, we are more like a large family. Upon understanding more about this virus, we have implemented as many precautions as we can while remaining operable, and it probably looks a little different than for much larger companies. Roughly half of our employees work in office positions, and at least two of them have opted to work remotely full time. The other handful of office employees have opted to still work primarily onsite, albeit some with a hybrid of onsite and remote work, within the naturally separated spaces of their cubicles and offices. Doors to other areas of our facility are kept open whenever possible to reduce shared surfaces, equipment and tables and other shared surfaces are regularly wiped down, and our employees are encouraged to eat in separate spaces. All meetings are conducted through Microsoft Teams, and we require temperature checks, frequent hand sanitization, and social distancing on our premises.

We have several production workers who are unable to work remotely, but have taken additional measures to work in separated stations and regularly sanitize shared tools and equipment.

Due to company-wide, statewide, and nationwide efforts to limit the spread of the virus, we encourage our customers and vendors to call or email us whenever possible. We still welcome tours of our facility and in-person meetings granted that our guests follow our safety guidelines. We love what we do and would like to continue to be able to do it, so please help us remain safe and remain open.
