    I have been using this disconnect switch for years in my drift car and it has been amazing. Before I found this I was running heavy mechanical switches which would ware out and fail. In drifting, any mechanical failure will end your weekend, and the reliability that this product gives you means that you can check this off your list of worries. Another great feature is that you are able to run a small switch of your choice anywhere in the car to disconnect the battery. I run the kill switch to the outside of the car below the windshield so a marshall can get to it in the event of an accident and disable the entire car from the outside. Hooking up the unit couldn’t be easier and you are able to place it anywhere that is convenient. You don’t have to worry about dragging heavy high amperage cables into awkward positions where they could rub, crack or fail.
